Your GitHub account, your authorization

Every user signs in with their own GitHub account — the server never stores a shared credential.

// Connect in three steps

1

Add the connector

ChatGPT → Settings → Connectors → Create new app. Set the Server URL to https://github-connector.jason1105.uk/mcp.

2

Sign in with GitHub and authorize

Set Authentication to OAuth. After clicking Create, you'll be redirected to GitHub's login page — sign in with your own account and approve access.

3

Just ask, right in the chat

For example, "list the files in this repo" or "turn this issue into a PR" — ChatGPT will call github-connector to do it.

Operate your repos, right in the conversation.
